The chicken sandwich wars. Everyone was doing it. So, to stand out amongst the social warfare, Bojangles decided to launch Bo’s Chicken Sandwich in a way no one had ever imagined. With a chicken. Meet Larry, a cannibalistic chicken, developed completely in-house at EP. Larry wants one thing and one thing only, to get his beak on that tender juicy chicken sammie.
The campaign resulted in a 380% increase of mentions on social.
We introduced Larry on broadcast and digital followed by a social series, “Meanwhile at Bojangles…” where fans got a glimpse into the life of a Bojangles’ employee as they dealt with Larry peaking around every corner.
